In partnership with the Red Cross, Butler firefighter will be installing 250 free smoke alarms this weekend.
Starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Butler firefighters and volunteers in connection with the Red Cross will be installing fire alarms to homes vulnerable to home fires. The “Sound the Alarm” event Home Fire Campaign has helped save nearly 2000 lives since 2014.
Along with installing fire alarms, volunteers will be discussing simple fire safety tips with families they can use to protect themselves and loved ones.
