The Blind Association of Butler and Armstrong Counties celebrated two local families for their contributions to the association in the past.
The annual Harvest Moon Charity Dance was held Friday night, and the Helen Keller Awards were handed out.
The O’Donnell family was recognized for their work in supporting the non-profit communities of Butler. Siblings Bill, Kevin, Jeff, and Karen were all honored by the Blind Association.
Another award was given to Terry Kaiserman and Nadine Tripodi of the Butler Coffee Lab, which is a local non-profit that started this year giving disabled individuals the opportunity to work at their store.
