A child was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle during trick-or-treat Tuesday night.
The accident happened in the City of Butler around 6:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Center Avenue—which is on the hill near Ziegler Avenue.
Butler City Police say a four-year-old was hit and taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with minor injuries. He was treated and released.
Police are looking for looking for the driver involved in the accident. The vehicle is a dark green GMC or Chevrolet SUV, however police say there was no other identifiable information.
Investigators believe that the driver of the vehicle may not have known they hit the child due to the nature of the accident.
