It was a busy morning for first responders as the slick conditions led a number of accidents across the county.
Dispatchers with the Butler County 911 Center said the calls for crashes started around 6 a.m. and continued throughout the morning commute.
There were some major delays on I-79 northbound after two crashes happened within two miles of each other near the Portersville/Prospect exit.
There were also crashes that delayed traffic on the Picklegate Bridge near Hansen Avenue and on Main Street in Butler.
While some drivers were taken to the hospital, dispatchers say most of the accident involved minor or no injuries.
