First responders were busy yesterday as a burst of wintry weather hit the area early, and the weather didn’t stop for most of the day.
Over 40 calls came into the Butler County 911 Center over the last 24 hours for crashes, fires, and downed wires and trees.
The weather forced many county school districts to either cancel or move to remote learning yesterday.
The wind has also caused problems, with gusts over 35 miles per hour.
At one point Tuesday morning, there were over 500 residents in Butler County without power. Crews were able restore most power to homes, as of 10 a.m. there were just 15 homes without power according to First Energy.
