It’s a snowy morning in Butler County as a system began to move in overnight.
Right now, there is a projected one to two inches for Butler County.
That led many school districts to opt for closing or remote learning.
But, this particular system is expected to have more of an impact to our south according to Matt Burdy, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
“The further south of Pittsburgh, especially for the southeast, we’re looking more like 3-5 inches, and then in the higher elevations those numbers could go to six inches,” Burdy said.
The National Weather Service has also issued a Wind Chill Advisory for Butler beginning at 10 p.m. Tuesday and running through Wednesday at noon. Real temperatures are expected to be around 4 degrees, but factoring in the wind, temperatures could feel as low a -15.
