Local residents are heading to Washington D.C. today to take part in the March for Life
Three different buses are departing at 6 a.m. to make the trip to the nation’s capital to march with other from around the country in support of pro-life policies.
The march is held each year by those who support the pro-life movement. It coincides with the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe vs. Wade ruling, which legalized abortion in the country.
However, the Supreme Court overturned the ruling in the summer of 2022, which returned the abortion decision to individual states.
