A free educational presentation about survival during a dark time in history will take place later this week.
A Holocaust Survivor Story is planned for Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the South Butler Community Library.
The presentation will feature the daughter of a Holocaust survivor speaking about her father’s painful journey after most of his family was murdered. Attendees will be able to participate by painting ceramic butterflies for display at the library as part of a grant from the Holocaust Center of Pittsburgh.
The program is free for those ages 12 and older with registration preferred by contacting the library. Refreshments will be available.
