The race for Senate in Pennsylvania is expected to be both competitive and pricey. But, there will be more than just two candidates on the ballot.
While most expect incumbent Senator Bob Casey to face Republican challenger Dave McCormick this fall, two more candidates filed paperwork to appear on the primary ballot.
Brandi Tomasetti is a Republican who is a former municipal government employee. William Parker is a Democrat from Allegheny County who has been unsuccessful in previous runs for county executive and Congress.
Republican Joe Vodvarka will also appear on the ballot; it’s the fifth time he has sought the office.
