Butler Memorial Hospital is hosting a couple of blood drives this month.
The first drive will be held next Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (3/19) in the Nixon Sarver Classroom, which is near the hospital’s Tower Entrance.
There will be another drive next Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Independence Health System’s Crossroad Campus on Route 38.
Hospital officials say donors must meet the following criteria:
- Be at least 17 years old or 16 with parental consent
- Weigh at least 110 pounds
- No tattoos or piercings in the past 3 months
- Be in general good health and eat before donating
- Have photo identification
Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also register in advance.
