Police have released more information on a multi-vehicle accident that happened Thursday morning in Summit Township.
The crash happened just after 7 a.m. on Route 356, near the intersection with Philmar Drive.
Police say 50-year-old Scott Springer of Butler was driving north when he could not come to a stop with a vehicle in front of him. Springer collided into 44-year-old Derek Ritter of Lower Burrell, who then hit 20-year-old Jordyn Manny of Butler.
Ritter suffered injuries to his back and shoulder, and was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
Springer and Manny were uninjured.
