Penn State Extension is offering an online program later this week about the health and economic worth of nature in land-use planning.
A 75 minute webinar titled “Defining Nature’s Worth from a Health and Economic Aspect” will begin at noon Wednesday.
A planner, an economic development director, and a conservation director will discuss how natural systems offer significant benefits in both urban and rural areas such as recreational revenue for municipalities and cost savings for residents.
This monthly land-use webinar series offered by Penn State Extension for a minor fee will continue through May. This program will be recorded and available for future viewing with more information available on the Penn State Extension website.
