A local business owner will move forward with plans to subdivide property following a recommendation by the Butler Township Planning Commission.
Commission members heard from representatives of Family Bowlaway Tuesday night about plans to divide nearly two acres from the eight and a half acre property. The new smaller parcel would include the six unit City View Heights apartment building built about 20 years ago.
Property owners are also in the process of attempting to remove the last of eight mobile homes positioned on the Fairground Hill Road property which is owned by a former tenant no longer in the area. Once that happens, gas and sewer lines will be either buried or removed and the area will be seeded.
Facility owners will next seek final approval of their plan from Butler Township Commissioners at a meeting later this month.
