One person died in a motorcycle crash over the weekend on Route 422.
The accident happened yesterday afternoon around 3 p.m. in the eastbound lanes, between the Duffy and Mercer Road bridges.
Butler Township Police say 22-year-old Gabriel Bishop was trying to pass a pick-up truck and clipped the rear bumper.
His motorcycle then went into a guiderail and he suffered fatal injuries.
Bishop was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash shut down Route 422 East for an hour, before eventually reopening to one lane of traffic causing significant slowdowns for most of the evening.
