A portion of Interstate 79 had to be shut down as a result of a crash Tuesday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 2:30 p.m. for an accident near the 79.4 mile marker northbound which is just north of Route 228.
Crews arrived on scene and found that a vehicle had rolled over multiple times. However, those involved in the crash were able to get out of the vehicles—but EMS was called to evaluate at least one person.
A portion of I-79 northbound had to be shut down for about an hour.
