A proposed bill on digital stalking that passed through the Pennsylvania house with bipartisan support will now head to the State Senate.
The bill deals with Apple air tags, which track items so they don’t become lost. The proposed law would prohibit air tags being used to track others, like putting it on a someone else’s vehicle.
The legislation is in response to remote stalking that can be done with the air tags. The house passed the proposal 199-1.
It will now head to the senate Judiciary committee before the senate votes on the proposal.
