State officials are once again reminding residents about the REAL ID deadline.
The move to using REAL IDs will go into effect in May 2025. It’s not a requirement in Pennsylvania, but will be needed in order to board commercial flights or enter federal buildings.
You can get a REAL ID at any driver license center. You will need both a proof of identity and a social security card.
