Some Butler County residents are spending the day cleaning up debris after strong storms rolled through Monday night.
The severe weather began just before 5 p.m.—targeting many areas in the northern part of the county.
Over about a three hour span, the Butler County 911 Center handled nearly 100 weather-related calls for downed trees and wires.
Some of the most severe weather was in Cranberry Township—where officials say there were a number of trees that fell down across roads.
At one point, more than 1,500 county residents were without power.
