The Butler VA is holding their first ever Veteran Appreciation Day this weekend.
The Abie Abraham VA Health Care Center will be hosting the event tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The day is to honor and recognize local veterans, servicemembers, and their families. It also gives vets a chance to explore the services and programs at the VA.
There will activities for families, including lawn games, free food, and a fire truck exploration. The Rock Station 97.7 FM will also be on location.
The event is free and open to all veterans and their families.
