Another edition of the Butler Farm Show officially got underway Sunday night.
The event always begins with a tradition public vigil on Sunday evenings, but this year it took on a different note.
Hundreds gathered to remember the tragic events that led to the death of Corey Comparetore and injuries that happened during the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
Organizers said they are anxious to have the Farm Show get started as it’s been an annual tradition that stretches back to 1948, celebrating agriculture and farming in the area.
Gates open from 8:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. and rides will begin at 4 p.m.
Monday evening is highlighted by the mini modified tractor pull beginning at 7 p.m. inside the arena and Hot Rod Willie at 8 p.m.
Admission to the Farm Show is $10 per person—children under 3 are free.
The Farm Show runs through Saturday.
