The completion of the project to improve safety at the four-way intersection near the Pullman Business Park in Butler Township has been delayed.
Originally expected to wrap up at the end of this month, Butler Township Commissioners received an update from engineers at their meeting Monday night.
Four poles and signals necessary for the project were ordered when the project began over three months ago but will not be delivered for at least another three months. This will result in the rest of the Whitestown Road work being postponed. There is no change to the cost of the project as a result and work on the other side of the intersection has been completed.
This project is now anticipated to wrap up sometime in the spring of 2025.
