A man from Eau Claire is out over $1,000 in items after they were stolen from a tool box over the weekend.
State police say the theft happened between Saturday night and Sunday morning when someone arrived at a vacant lot in Venango Township at the corner of Route 58 and North Enrico Road.
The suspect cut open a padlock of a toolbox that was on a trailer. The suspect took off with three chains, five rachet binders, and ten hooks. They also stole a trail camera.
