17 people have been arrested in connection with a criminal organization that brought drugs into Butler County from York County.
The leader of the drug ring 41-year-old Jeffrey Wilkins of York and 11 residents of Butler County were charged with crimes connected to bring large amounts of heroin, fentanyl, and cocaine to the county.
The Butler County residents listed as his co-conspirers:

- Amber Wallace, 43, West Sunbury
- Samantha Best, 31, Ford City
- Jodi Taylor, 42, of Saxonburg
The charges filed in Allegheny County by a grand jury were brought forward by the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals Office’s Bureau of Narcotics Investigation. A Butler Barracks state trooper presented the investigation to the grand jury.
Wilkins is alleged to have help transport drugs to Butler from York and have several dealers in the county. At one-point Wilkins was in custody from parole violations. During that time his wife, 31-year-old Jerrica Wilkins of York, brother, 46-year-old Steven Wilkins of New Castle, and his son, 20-year-old Amire McLeod of Pittsburgh would transport the drugs.
Jeffrey Wilkins is facing a total of 20 charges including corrupt organization, criminal conspiracy, and intent to manufacture or deliver.
Wilkins was placed in the Butler County Prison with bail set at $500,000.
