Butler City Council will not raise taxes after approving the budget for 2025.
The final 2025 balanced general fund budget is nearly $10.9 million with a tax rate of 44 mils. An additional about $3 million in city money has been designated for the capital projects fund.
These figures are either identical or very close to last year’s figures. The budget also includes raises for police and other city employees as outlined in collective bargaining agreements.
Interest from the $92 million in proceeds from the BASA sale will be used to help balance the 2025 budget.
