Butler Township continues to move forward with the recreation complex at Pullman Business Park.
At their meeting Monday night, Butler Township Commissioners awarded a contract to Playing Surface Solutions Inc to begin the second phase of the project at a cost of about $350,000.
This proposal was the lowest of 11 bids received to be approved by the Township’s engineering firm, Gateway. This work will include pulverizing some concrete at the Pullman site as well as hauling about 17,000 cubic yards of soil in to elevate about eight acres.
The project is expected to begin as soon as the weather will allow and be completed sometime in late May.
