A New York man was charged in Cranberry Township after cashing fraudulent checks with stolen identities.
Police in Cranberry Township investigated a case of alleged check fraud on January 8 at First Commonwealth Bank on Freedom Road.
Police were able to identify 63-year-old Luis Cuascut as attempting to cash a check for $657 with a fabricated check and ID.
Luis was arrested and charged with forgery, identity theft, and access device counterfeit.
