Police have released more information on a shooting that happened in Butler City last night and the two individuals who were taken to Butler Memorial Hospital after suffering gun shot wounds.
According to Butler City Police, around 9 p.m. Wednesday night, police were called to the 400 block of West North Street for gun shots. When officers spoke to witnesses on scene they were able to give a description of the alleged shooter.
They say a black male approximately 6’1’ with a thin build wearing a black beanie, black puffy jacket, black shoes, and black pants was seen running from the scene.
The two individuals injured in the shooting were a 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man both of Youngstown, Ohio. They were treated for gunshot wounds to their legs and have been released from Butler Memorial Hospital.
The shooting is currently an active investigation and anyone with information is asked to call Butler County 911.
