The Seneca Valley hockey team captured the PIHL Class 3A Penguins Cup championship following a 3-2 victory in triple overtime over South Fayette. Marshall Hewitt scored the game-winner for Seneca Valley, who had a Penguins Cup finals-record of 64 shots. There were 113 shots in the game. Raiders goaltender Christopher Nichols stopped 49 shots from South Fayette. The Raiders won their first title since 2018 and second in program history.
