The Pittsburgh Steelers signed seven undrafted free agent prospects after selecting seven players throughout the NFL draft over the weekend. One of the free agents signed was Pitt kicker Ben Sauls, who earned All-American honors kicking for the Panthers. He made over 87% of his field goals during his Pitt career, and had the second-longest kick at Acrisure Stadium of 58-yards, one behind the all-time mark set by current Steelers kicker Chris Boswell.
The Steelers completed their draft over the weekend following the selection of defensive lineman Derrick Harmon in the first round Thursday, by selecting running back Kaleb Johnson out of Iowa in the third round Friday. Saturday, they took two linebackers, a defensive tackle, a cornerback and quarterback out of Ohio State, Will Howard.
