A Pitt and Steelers connection: as Notre Dame welcomes three receiver recruits

Former Pitt and NFL great Larry Fitzgerald’s son has chosen to play college football at Notre Dame. Devin Fitzgerald is considered a three-star recruit and will join the sons of two former Pittsburgh Steelers in the class of 2026 for the Fighting Irish. Jerome Bettis, Jr., son of the former Steelers running back and Elijah Burress, son of Plaxico Burress, are both receiver recruits for Notre Dame.
