Jack, Lois, Mary Alice, Kay, and Elaine.
Ted is lovingly survived by his children, Shari (Michael) Albert of Renfrew, Debby
(Adrian) Davoli of Enon, OH, and Dennis (Cathy) Hibar of Corry, PA.; seven
grandchildren: Ian and Samantha Albert, Adrian (Julie), Damien and Christian (Desiree)
Davoli, April (Anthony) Parr, and Charity Hibar; and eleven great grandchildren:
Alexander, Sebastian, Penelope, Savannah, Elliana, Matthias, Miles, Madeline, Lillian,
Isaac and Lucas; sister-in-law Irene Berwick; and many loving cousins, nieces and
nephews. He was particularly proud of his grandchildren and couldn’t wait to tell people
how many he had!
Ted led a life of service to his God, country and family. He was a faithful member of the
former Charleroi Presbyterian Church and White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church in
Renfrew, where he served as a deacon and custodian.
He served overseas in the Army during the Vietnam War and earned expert
sharpshooting awards in carbine and rifle, as well as rank of technical specialist SPC E-
- In 2002, as Commander of American Legion Post 22 and President of the Charleroi
Veterans Council, he led the fundraising efforts and subsequent construction of the new

A hard worker and talented craftsman, Ted served his family as a carpenter building
and repairing houses, a steelworker at Combustion Engineering, maintenance crew at
Guttman Oil, and produce manager at the Charleroi Save-A-Lot. Whatever you needed,
he could build or fix it, including sets for his daughters’ dance recitals, a float for a
sorority parade, or an oversized ride-on Thomas the Tank Engine for his grandchildren.
When he wasn’t building something, he loved singing, cheering on the Steelers, and
having fun with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation of money or
time in his memory to the White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church or a charity of your
choice.
