Candidates for the upcoming primary election have started putting together nomination petitions this week.
Candidates will be seeking between 100 to 2,000 signatures to be on the ballot for the May 19th primary election.
They will also have to a pay a fee of $25 to $200 depending on the office they are seeking and all state offices will need to provide a statement of financial interest.
The General Primary ballot will feature candidates for Governor, Congressional seats, and state house seats.
Pennsylvania’s primary elections are closed so you will only be able to vote with the party you are registered to and ballot measures.
