A Bellefonte man is facing charges in Butler Township after being accused of not paying for over a $1,000 of items.
On March 10, police were called to the Target in the Butler Commons Plaza for a man that walked out the store without paying for five items worth $1,209.
Police were able to connect 41-year-old David Derry to the crime through security footage and Derry’s previous criminal record of retail theft.
He has been charged with retail theft and driving with a suspended license.
Derry is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
