Walter “Dave” Hilles, 89, of Butler, Pennsylvania, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at his home.
He was born October 4, 1936, in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Walter R. and Pauline (Ozlenick) Hilles.
Dave was a member of Hannahstown Road Baptist Church. He had worked at AK Steel in the processing maintenance office. He was previously a co-owner of AAA AZ Services and been a tax preparer. Dave was a Veteran of the US Marines.
Surviving are his children, John (Becky) Hilles, Diana Hilles (Leroy Burlingame), Naomi (John) Bennett, Paul (Emily) Hilles, and Steve (Melissa) Hilles; and his many beloved grandchildren; and his sister, Judith Ann Hutchison.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Arlene Sarah (White) Hilles.
A private family service will be held in memory of their father.
