A Butler man is facing charges after he allegedly broke into a Butler City home and stole a gaming console.
The incident happened Monday between 4 and 5 p.m. in the 500 block of North Elm Street when 35-year-old Richard Nolan allegedly broke into the home stole food and a PlayStation 5.
The victim confronted Nolan about the theft, who then allegedly admitted to the crime. Nolan also said he sold the PlayStation for $200.
The PlayStation is valued at over $500.
Nolan has been charged with burglary and theft by unlawful taking.
His bail was set at $15,000 and Nolan is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
