A local library is offering kids the chance to learn more about a respected career later this week.
As part of Architecture Week and in partnership with the American Institute of Architects, the South Butler Community Library is hosting “Read and Design with an Architect” on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
This hands-on program for kids in kindergarten through 5th grade will include an architect from a local firm introducing kids to her job with a story then helping participants to design their own structures and answering questions.
There is no cost to participate but advance registration is requested by calling or emailing the South Butler Community Library.
