Richard S. Jarosinski, 98, of Sarver, PA, went to be with the Lord on April 24, 2026, at Concordia Lutheran Ministries, Cabot.
He was born September 12, 1927, in Natrona, Pennsylvania, to the late John and Veronica (Poplis) Jarosinski.
Richard was a 1945 graduate of Har-Brack Highschool. He proudly served our country during World War II in the United States Army. Rich began his career at Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp., before becoming a proud employee at Oberg Industries – Freeport Site. He served on the Freeport Area School Board from 1969, 1971-1973.
As a little league coach, Rich enjoyed coaching the Saxonburg Cubs (1963-1967) & the Freeport Yankees (1974-1976). Completing a three-decade tenure, Rich valued his involvement within the Alle-Kiski Basketball Chapter of the PIAA.
Richard was a member of Guardian Angels Parish in Natrona Heights. He was a devout Roman Catholic who served as a lector and a member of Church Council [former St. Ladislaus Worship Site].
He was proud of his Polish heritage and delighted in Polka music & tradition. Rich was well known for his two-tone Eddie Bauer Ford Bronco II. He enjoyed gardening, reading the daily newspaper, and good conversation.
Above all, Richard loved his family. He is survived by his sons, Richard J. (Jane) Jarosinski of Sarver, PA, and Michael A. (Patricia) Jarosinski of Springdale, PA; daughter-in-law, Peggy Jarosinski of Sarver, PA; grandchildren, Erin, Michael, Kevin (Jenna), Devin, Julie, and Robert; great-grandsons, Jason, Jaxon, Jaden and Oliver; and numerous nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Constance M. (Dabkowski) Jarosinski, whom he married on September 13, 1952; son, Robert “Bull” Jarosinski; brothers, Bruno (Mary Ann) Jarosinski and John (Marcella) Jarosinski; sisters, Charlotte (Thomas) Erdley and Helen (William) Walsh Traver.
Per his request, there will be no public visitation. Interment to be in Saint Joseph Parish Cemetery, Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania.
