A man is facing charges after allegedly making threats against multiple lawmakers in Harrisburg.
Adam Berryhill of Lebanon County is charged with threatening 20 Democratic lawmakers in both the House and Senate. Police say the threat referred to a “Memorial Day operation.”
Some of the lawmakers took issue with how long the threats took to get reported to them.
Both Governor Josh Shapiro and house leaders say a better process is needed to inform lawmakers of threats.
Shapiro also we are experiencing a dangerous rise in political violence in the state.
