A stormwater renovation project is coming to Petrolia.
County commissioners approved sending $50,000 to the borough to help with a stormwater project that will impact Route 268 and Spring Street, along with Lower Spring and Taylor Streets.
The county’s portion of funding the nearly $500,000 project is coming from the $5 vehicle fee fund.
County officials say they’ve utilized around $1.3 million of the $5 fee to help leverage over $11 million in infrastructure projects.
Work should be completed by this summer.
