One person was taken to the hospital after a cooking fire last night at an apartment complex in Butler.
Crews were called to the Cliffside Apartments around 9:15 p.m. for smoke coming from the 5th floor of the building.
Firefighters arrived to find the alarms going off and residents being evacuated.
Crews went into the apartment and believe food was burnt, causing the smoke.
One resident had to be taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for smoke inhalation.
