Butler Memorial Hospital is unveiling new updates to their sleep lab facility.
Independence Health System announced the renovation of the space located in 4 North is now complete.
Using hospital capital improvement funds, the updated lab includes hotel-like double rooms with full-size beds that allow a parent or caregiver to comfortably stay overnight with a child as young as 3.
New furniture, upgraded lighting, new flooring and updated linens along with desks and convenient outlets for phones and computers increase comfort as sleep studies are done to evaluate many symptoms.
Electrical, cable and plumbing systems were also updated, and ADA-accessible bathroom accommodations are available on the unit.
