More on information and the name of the man who died in an early Friday morning crash late last week has been released.
The two-vehicle accident happened just after 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Lindsay Road (Route 528) and the northbound off-ramp on I-79.
According to Jackson Township Police, a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Nickolas Patterson of Volant was driving northbound, exiting I-79 and then hit a tri-axle tanker truck.
The truck was driven by a 47-year-old Bruin man that was going westbound on Lindsay Road. Patterson was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Butler County Coroner. The truck driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
