A grant will allow a local agency to continue providing transportation to those in need.
Alliance for Nonprofit Resources and the United Way are continuing grant funding for the “Rise Up Rides” program, which gives transportation to residents who don’t qualify for subsidized transit.
If residents have exhausted all other options, the Rise Up Rides program offers transportation within a 20-mile radius to employment, medical appointments, grocery stores, and other critical destinations.
The grant funding will run through 2029.
