A Butler man accused of overdosing with children in a Summit Township home will be seeking new representation.
In October, Emergency Medical Services were called to the 400 block of Mitchell Hill Road for 45-year-old Nathan Frndak and 37-year-old Jessica Bisignano as they were allegedly overdosing.
When EMS arrived, police were then called to the scene due to children being home at the time of the call. Both Frndak and Bisignano were charged for the incident.
In new court filings, Frndak has accused his public defense attorney of not providing adequate representation. Frndak requested the attorney be removed and he will find a private attorney to represent him.
Frndak was given 30 days to seek new representation.
He is currently out of prison on a $100,000 unsecured bond.
Bisignano is currently nonmonetary bail and has a hearing later this week.
