PA Representatives from Butler County are among those who will meet tomorrow to unveil a budget alternative to tax increases proposed by the state Senate and Governor Wolf.
A coalition of 17 State House members will make the proposal during a presentation scheduled for Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Capitol Media Center in Harrisburg.
The group claims that their plan will close out and fully fund the state budget without the need to raise taxes. The current Senate proposal endorsed by Governor Wolf would increase taxation of natural gas, electric, and telephone bills as well as borrow more than $1.3 million.
