Butler Radio’s own Bob Cupp will be formally inducted into the Slippery Rock University Media Hall of Fame tonight.
Bob joins four others in the second class of inductees. The ceremony will include an award presentation and dinner on the SRU campus. The SRU Media Hall of Fame will also have a float in this year’s SRU Homecoming Parade on Saturday.
Bob got his radio start at “The Rock” in the early 80s and is being inducted as one of SRU Alumni’s most talented and veteran on-air personalities. He has worked at Butler Radio since 1984.
“Butler Radio is better for having Bob on the team. He is the consummate broadcaster for our community,” General Manager Vicki Hinterberger said. “The network would not be where it is today without his talents.”
