Those interested in local railroad history are invited to a presentation coming up this week at Moraine State Park.
Tuesday from 1 to 3 p.m. a talk about the History of Moraine and the Western Allegheny Railroad will be given at the State Parks Region 2 Office Conference Room off Park Road in Prospect.
An author of a book on the subject will share images and insights of the train stations, people, and landscapes when coal, limestone, and passengers traveled through the Muddy Creek basin which is now Lake Arthur.
