Amended Butler Township zoning ordinances are one step closer to being enacted.
The Butler Township Planning Commission gave approval to the planned changes after debate and some revision Tuesday night.
Many of the changes deal with residential cluster housing and would give developers more freedom to construct condominiums. Minor changes have also been made to definitions and rules pertaining to communication towers and antennas.
A public hearing on the new ordinances will be held on Monday, December 18th at 7 p.m. A vote to finalize those changes could be taken by Butler Township Commissioners later that night.
