It’s still cold, and it’s about to get even colder.
Thursday’s high is 14 degrees with snow showers off and on throughout the day. No accumulation is expected, according to the National Weather Service.
For the first time all week, there were no school delays in Butler County.
That could change tomorrow, though. A Wind Chill Advisory will go into effect in the county at 7 p.m. Thursday and continue through 3 p.m. Saturday. Thursday’s night low is expected to be –1, and when you factor in the wind that could gust up to 30 miles per hour, it could feel as cold as –20.
Friday’s high is only 7 degrees.
Western Pennsylvania, and much of the country, should get some relief early next week. Forecasters expect we’ll get above freezing on Monday for the first time in quite awhile.
