A weekend shooting in Fayette County has claimed the lives of four people and made national news.
The shooting happened about 3 a.m. Sunday at a car wash.
State Police say four people died at the scene and two people- the shooter and one victim- were taken to local hospitals.
The motive for the shooting is still unclear. The shooter was armed with several weapons including an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, a 9mm handgun and another rifle.
The shooter sustained a gunshot wound to the head and is not expected to survive. Officials say it’s possible the gunshot was self-inflicted.
